Our Year 6 children are taking part in the INSPIRE programme today with a special trip to Lichfield Cathedral. As part of this enriching experience, they are exploring the awe and wonder of this historic place of worship, taking in its beauty, heritage, and spiritual atmosphere. The children are meeting with people who have shared how their beliefs and values influence their daily lives, and they are also connecting with pupils from other schools to share experiences and reflections. Throughout the day, they are being encouraged to consider some of the big questions facing us today, making this a thoughtful and inspiring visit.

In Forest School this half term, the Fabulous Flamingos have loved being outdoors. The first lesson consisted of creating our own Forest School names and the children loved making up actions to showcase their new name. We have played lots of games and had hands-on opportunities to explore and discover. The children really enjoyed making their own forest crowns and were mindful of the natural products they used to make them.
